The Educational Touring Theatre will
ELECTRIFY YOUR STUDENTS
with two exciting,
interactive programs about electricity present at your school for grades 4 - 8!! Giants of Electrical Science Theatre Presentation Who was the greatest electrical scientist of all time? This fast paced, interactive theatre presentation will help answer that question as Benjamin Franklin, Alessandro Volta, Michael Faraday and Thomas Edison vie for the title of "Giant of Electrical Science".
With the
help of student volunteers, each scientist will demonstrate his
special contributions to the science of electricity. Along the way,
students will learn all about electricity and how it works.

The
Electricity Party
(Hands-on Science Workshop) Like "natural philosophers" (scientists) of old, your students will be energized with this hands-on exploration of electricity. Working in small groups, students will build their own electrical storage devices and create human electrical circuits! Some students will explore electromagnetism as they build electric motors. Your students will be shocked to discover how much fun learning about electricity can be! All materials will be provided. (Running time : 45 - 60 minutes Workshop size : 30 maximum) See what educators across Tennessee Giants of Electrical Science is presented in special partnership between The Adventure Science Center, and The Education Touring Theatre. Program Fees Basic Package - $400 Includes 1 Giants of Electrical Science performance and 2 Electricity Party workshops. Additional Presentations - $50 each Add extra Electricity Party workshops or Giants of Electrical Science performances to your presentation day! Travel Fee An additional travel fee may be added.
