Giants of Electrical Science

Science Theatre Performance

Who was the greatest electrical scientist of all time? This fast paced, interactive theatre presentation will help answer that question as Benjamin Franklin, Alessandro Volta, Michael Faraday, and Thomas Edison, vie for the title of “Giant of Electrical Science.” With the help of student volunteers, each scientist will demonstrate his special contributions to the science of electricity. Along the way, students will learn all about electricity and how it works.

Running Time: 60 minutes      Audience Size: up to 150      Grades: 3 – 8

Absolutely stunning! The kids were enthralled from beginning to end.

Pair a Giants of Electrical Science performance with  multiple Electricity Party workshops for a fun filled day at your school. You may have up to five presentations per day.

The Electricity Party

Hands-on Science Workshop

Like “natural philosophers” (scientists) of old, your students will be energized with this hands-on exploration of electricity. Working in small groups, students will build their own electrical storage devices and create human electrical circuits! Some students will explore electromagnetism as they build electric motors. Your students will be shocked to discover how much fun learning about electricity can be! All materials will be provided.

 Running Time: 45-60 minutes     Workshop Size: 32 max     Grades: 3 – 8

This type of program does more to promote young scientists than anything else we can do in the classroom. Superb!
